NASHVILLE BOLD Red Tent Event


Imagine a place where women support women through history, story, and woman-to-woman wisdom. Red Tents are sacred and safe places for women to grow and learn.
EAST NASHVILLE BOLD Red Tent event Co-hosted by Krystal Kinnunen and Artsy Mamas

When: August 23rd, from 2-4pm

Where: East Library 206 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN. 37206

What: Bring food to share, pen and paper for writing, art supplies, old magazines for collage art, and your birth story. We plan to create a multimedia art piece of everyone's birth story. A love offering will be accepted to cover any cost and go toward supporting birthing options in Nashville.


Childcare will be provided but please bring a couple of bucks to chip in for the "sitter". Thanks!!

Drawing Artshops for Mothers

Drawing Artshops for Mothers – presented by The Center for the Arts and Artsy Mamas. This series of artshops will focus on exploring different types of media (pencil, charcoal, ink, conte, etc.) and developing a deeper understanding and mastery over concepts such as perspective, shading, positive and negative space, and transferring what your eye sees to paper. Classes will be meeting twice a month (Sept 6, 27, Oct 4, 18, Nov 8, 22, and Dec 13, 20) from 9am - noon. The registration deadline is August 25th. The supply fee is $45 and will include a charcoal set, sketch pad, newsprint pad, conte crayon kit, and portfolio along with some other materials to be divided amongst the class. Supply fee discounts may be applied if you already have the some of the materials. The classes are $5 each or $35 for all eight sessions if registered before August 25th. Registration is required.
