Learn all about zines! Linebaugh Public Library, in partnership with Artsy Mamas, will present a Zine Workshop, 2-5 p.m. on July 27, for parents, ages 18 and up. This free workshop will give you a chance to explore you creative side through writing, drawing, or other 2-D art. During this workshop, we'll learn about zines, see some examples, talk about how to make a zine, and work together to make a collaborative zine. At the end of the workshop, each participant will have a copy of the finished zine to take home with them, and a copy will be added to the Linebaugh Library's zine collection. Advance registration required. To register, please visit www.linebaugh.org/zines.htm. For more information on the following workshops, please email zines@linebaugh.org or call Jerianne Thompson at 615-893-4131. Linebaugh Library is at 105 W. Vine St. in Murfreesboro.
