Saturday, May 31st 2-3pm: Art and Story Time at Boro Book Warehouse
"Los Animales en Espanol": Join Artsy Mamas and Bravo Niño's! as we learn five animals in Spanish, read a book, sing songs, do a craft, and enjoy a very special snack.
Saturday, May 31 7:00pm: Our very first Book Discussion at Barnes and Noble café (in the Boro). Please come out even if you haven't read the book!! We'll be talking about Misconceptions.
Monday, June 9th 10:00am: Artdate for Moms and their wee ones)- Location TBA so email me back if you would like a notice!
Thursday, June 19th 2:00pm: Artsy Mamas Coffee and Chat meeting @ Boro Book Warehouse (the kids can play with the train table while mom makes new friends and finds out how she can be involved with our organization)

Monday, June 23rd: FREE Superchick concert in Franklin
WAY-FM is excited to announce the return of our Summer Brown Bag Concert Series. On June 23rd, we'll welcome Superchick to the stage. By the way, all Brown Bag concerts are FREE, start at noon and take place on the grounds of The People's Church in Franklin. So bring a blanket or a lawn chair and plenty of sunscreen and plan to join us for an exciting summer full of music. If you need more information, just call 1-888-33-WAY-FM.

Thursday, June 26th: 4:30-9:00: THE GARDEN PARTY
Artsy Mamas and Carolyn Sledge present an evening of fun, food, fellowship, crafts, and inspirational music. Please join us for (what we hope to be) our first annual Garden Party and Artsy Mamas anniversary celebration! This event will take place at the Jones residence. Bring a blanket, outdoor fun items such as Frisbees and balls, and a vegetarian pot luck item. We'll also be collecting a suggested love offering of $5.00-$10.00/family for the band.

Mamapalooza Murfreesboro was amazing this past weekend. Thank you to everyone who came out and partied with us! Thanks to all of our wonderful performers (the Flatt Sisters, Pacha Mamas!, Tall Grass Studios, Carolyn Sledge, and Sugar Lime Blue). Our vendors did a great job of creating an attractive table! Such a good job that the entire crowd stayed in front of their tables all night long!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Now that we have a few locations available, we'd like to start scheduling art shops again. We need people to teach mamas painting, photography, jewelry making, dance, etc. We are open to all ideas and we'd like to schedule one artshop/month. Please get back to me if you are interested in helping out in this capacity.
We are also looking for new and exciting outreach opportunities! If you know of a group of mamas or people in general who could use some encouraging, please let us know about it! We'd love to help out.

We currently have three positions available on our board of directors. You don't have to be a mama or even a female in order to apply. If you feel led to fill this role, please contact us.
